Want to paint the shower stall in my 1989 Excella 29.
Have learned that the shower pan may be ABS, not fiberglass and does not so well with certain paints.
How can I tell if my shower sidewalls and the pan are ABS or glass?
I bought an AC shroud from Icon Direct, I had planed to paint and apply AS decals.
It wasn't mentioned on the website, but it was made of HMW Polyethylene...nothing would stick to it.
Suggestion...clean a small area with mineral spirits, apply a decal or paint to test it.
One thing I do know, the suction cup towel hooks keep falling off our shower stall...too much expand/contract? 🤔

It's polyethylene. I had some cracks plastic welded on mine. That being said I think I'll build something to replace it. I think Colin Hyde sells a fibreglass version of your shower pan.
While we are on the subject of shower painting: my shower has a metal trim piece running up two corners (top to bottom). Sort of an L shape fitted to the corner seams. Can this be painted over after cleaning well and removing all caulk? If not, presuming it may be stainless, I suppose it could be removed, cleaned and polished somehow?
