'74 Sovereign...object fell into blacktank

How do I explain....I was cleaning the rear bathroom, moved things around, didn't put them back. Later, I went into the bathroom with urgency, quickly planted myself onto the "throne" whilst hearing something fall. Well, when I flushed I heard another clunk. Looking around I saw a 3" Crystal ball a friend gave me was missing, the tripod it was on tipped over.
How do I get that out of there?

Ask the crystal ball to find out the answer.
Sounds like time to pull the toilet before it gets into the drain line. If you can see it use a shop vac to pick it up and out . Should have enough suction to hold it.

Or if you have a Sewer Solution, maybe you'll get lucky and it will come out and get rinsed off at the same time.

Can you see it through the open toilet? Do you have small hands/arms. Maybe wrap your hand and arm in a garbage bag and see if you can reach in and get it. Pulling the toilet will give you a better reach.
If it was 3" it has very small chance of getting through the tank drain?

Oh geez. I'll turn off the water first and see what I see, although the tank had recently been drained ... then I will figure out how to remove the toilet. I am so not a handygirl. Damn.

Your slinky is 4" diameter, right? So if you dump the black tank and rinse it out, the ball should come out. All you need is to dump into some netting that is small enough to catch the ball as it comes out but still lets water and dissolved solids pass through.

Whole lot easier than removing the toilet.
