'62Overlander Tub Trim

FINALLY in the reconstruction phase of our restoration!!!!!!!!! BUT......
The trim that attaches the tub to the bathroom wall(somewhat of a modified lower case h extrusion) was severely damaged upon removal for tub resurfacing. Does ANYONE have any advice? the lower part of the h wraps around the top of the tub's fiberglass edge and is riveted in place....the top part of the trim is then riveted to the actual wall of the bathroom with a bit of putty tape between to assist in waterproofing...where can i find it??????????????????? Im ready to finish the bathroom and this is holding me up!!!!!!!!!

My '63 had been repaired a few times, so I'm sure there is a good chance that it's not original...but...Mine had a simple piece of flat aluminum home depot trim covering the area. It look fine to me and that's what will go back when I start re-installing the tub!

my Ohio built 62 had that trim riveted from the back side. It was a bear to get out. I guess the trim was put on the wall panel and set over the lip of the tub. I clad all my walls in aluminum so I just overlapped them and did away with the trim.

Is yours a Cali or Ohio unit?
