We've got a 62 Overlander. Original toilet was gone. Original black tank is there. We would like to install a Dometic 321 short profile elongated toilet. Based on center of hole to wall measurements it "should' fit.
We have removed a temporary compost type install from a previous owner (PO). They had simply placed it over the existing raised pedestal without removing the original black tank.
Q:What is this original piece called that we have on top of the tank. Flange? (The white in center is a plastic knock out plug)
Q: Does original flange come out, does it need to and how.
Q:What is the name of the piece that will connect the new toilet to this (or new) flange? VTS has several toilet floor flanges to pick from.
