2006 Safari 23’ No hot water in the shower ????

I've got hot water in both sinks but none in the shower, anybody run across this problem ? Never had a problem with the shower, plenty of water flow, all cold, even when you turn the handle all the way counter clockwise. If you turn the handle all the way to the left where the water stops you can feel it start to get warm, but that's all. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Roger.

Your problem is with the shower faucet, actually a mixer valve. There are several you tube videos on how to fix them.

Sounds like shower cartridge needs replaced as described above! Not hard to do, Home Depot sells that part. I did one last year

So, my shower valve does not protrude out far enough to get the clip off to remove the valve !!! So frustrated, theres a white plastic fixture for the trim cover to bolt down, theres no room to pull the clip up and it wont push back far enough to get out of the way.... Crazy stupid Airstream...

Yeah I have now heard several time the hole is too small. Most posters expand the hole as needed to get the job done, staying within the confines of the cover trim. A jig/guide taped or glued helps prevent cutting the hole too large.

It's not the hole size, it's the plastic retainer that the outer trim bolts to, unless you're supposed to cut the top of that to make room. It won't push back to gain access, it's beyond stupid what they did here.

OK, managed to get the new valve in, now I have hot water but no blend, it's either hot or cold, hot to the left cold to the right and shut off in the middle, which wasn't the way it was. before the shut off was all the way to the right, so turning counter clockwise it's cold with slow blend to warm- hot as you rotate all the way to the left. I got a moen 1222 single handle valve, looked a perfect match to the old one but what the heck ~!!!

Any ideas ???? thanks.
