What fitting? Atwood Gas/Elec Water heater

I'm upgrading to PEX and need to know what find of fitting I need to hook up the Hot and Cold water lines to my new heater. I really didnt' want to drag the whole unit to Lowes, so if anyone knows the fitting type that would be great. Thanks in advance.

There's no need to drag the whole unit to the store. just bring in the installation book with you. It's bound to have the fitting sizes in it.

The inlet and outlet are 1/2" NPT Female.

Purchase a couple of Tees and valves to make a bypass for winterizing and a drain.

If you buy the prepackaged bypass at Walmart or Camping World you may be disappointed.
