Water Pump problem 2006 Safari 25í LE

The water pump started making some heavy vibrations making noises last light and wifeís desired shower just a drip. Finally located the pump under the driver side closet next to shower. No leaks and canít see a water filter/strainer anywhere to clean. When I turn it on I hear it run but water drips at sinks, shower. No outside water connections. Green light on water tank. Thoughts?

There should be a strainer right at the pump- look behind it. And I assume your fresh water tank is full. Next check the aerator screens on the faucets.

Pumps are a pretty standard item. They also don't cost a lot. Replacing one is not that big a deal if it turns out to be broke.

I have the same trailer. You can access the water pump by opening the little door below the closet that has the heat vent in it. This door is hinged, open and remove the duct attached. THEN, go under the fridge and open the door to the small compartment. You can remove the back of this little compartment without much trouble. Now you can see much better.

Find the strainer in the clear plastic holder, unscrew it and remove the filter. Clean out the faucet aerators too. If things improve at the faucets but not at the shower, you might have to replace the moen cartridge. They can get messed up over time. If this 25FB is original you might have to replace the cartridge.

Aquatek pump

So Airstream made it as difficult as possible to get to the pump. Through the heater duct door I can see the pump and barely get my hands in there. Canít see or feel for a strainer connected to the pump or on any of the water lines going in all directions with heater ducting twisted all above. The panel under the fridge could be removed if I had a better long handled Philips screwdriver. If anyone has a better idea where the strainer/filter is then I might can get to it. Iím pretty sure itís never been cleaned in the history of the trailer. The pump is an Aquatek 3.5 gpm unit. Water gurgles when itís running. Thanks for the help.
