Water heater replacement

I am replacing water heater on 82 AS, I need input on what brand to use to replace and places to purchase them. Any advice would be appreciated.

Look at on demand water heaters as opposed to a tank type. They are cooler, use less gas and give lots and lots of hot water. I am replacing a water heater right now. Dont have the model number or name of unit with me at the moment, but that is just advice for starters. If I can get the model number etc I will send it. jpsdo

If you are looking for a tankless, on-demand water heater, look at the RV-500 from Precision-Temp. I have one installed in my '06 19CCD and it is great. Also had one in my 1998 Monaco Dynasty 40' MoHo.
