Truma AquaGo tankless water heater reset process
I’ve got an after market Truma AquaGo tankless water heater installed in my 27’ International and it’s great. Occasionally, though, it loses it’s mind if I run out of propane (usually by forgetting to turn on a tank valve). You’ll know this when the little amber light in the round multi-position switch blinks and the water doesn’t heat.
There is a long process described on the Truma site and elsewhere on YouTube that wants you to open taps and run water for up to 15 minutes. I’ve found, however, that all you really need to do is turn the inside switch to off, go outside, open the Truma compartment, flip off the on-off toggle switch inside, wait 30 seconds or so, then flip it back on. Back inside you turn the switch to the heat position, the little amber light comes on, holds steady, and you’re back in action.
