Tankless water heater

Anyone tried a tankless unit, I know it's not original equipment but it seems they're much more efficient, and weigh less. Thinking of putting one on my newly purchased MH. here's the link to the manufacturer.

It sounds like a great idea. I do see a few discrepancies, though.
First the very high $ 829.00 initial purchase price. Very steep for a water heater.
Second the fact that it's main propane savings are based on the fact that you will not have to keep the tank hot, but you will end up using more propane because you can and will now take longer showers and therefore use much more hot water. And these units run the entire time you are showering, or otherwise using hot water. I guess it would be worth it for a very frequent RV user, or a full timer, but i would go conventional for what I need my Airstream for.

I thought about the tankless unit myself. But after replacing my old one, (Bottom of tank rotted out) with a new 10 gal. Gas/Electric, I find both of us can take a pretty decent shower and not run out of hot water. For the amount of propane I would save, it would take me 2 lifetimes to recover the cost of the unit. I barely used one 30# camping this year.

How many BTUs are you looking at for $829.00? For that price i could run a shower and the washing at the same time... You can get one for a sink for about $60.00.....
