Pulsating Lights

I have a 23 Pottery Barn. When I attempt to use my bathroom faucet via my water pump, the water and bathroom lights pulsate along with the sound of the pump pulsating. Any idea what causes this?

My 2025 Trade Wind cold water pulsates while running, sometimes. The lights flicker when the pump first starts, but does not continue to pulsate.

The hot water does not do that.

I am not sure it is a problem. Is it a problem for you?

I remember noticing the lights flickering while running the pump (and flushing the macerator toilet) when our WFCO converter later died in the early morning hours. I was not experienced enough back then to have looked at the SOC% on the CZone. I think I had a low battery bank at the time, and the converter was slowly failing.

OP could always install a IRVWPC, that would smooth out the pump.

I do not notice this now, and have not since upgrading the electrical system. Of course that also included upgrading 12V buss wiring.

Think of it as sharing the power syndrome.
Ours is also quieter when running through the converter.

When the pump works against the pressure in the line for part of each revolution it draws more current and that drops the voltage. The incandescent bulbs in the older trailers do not respond as quickly to changing voltage as the newer LEDs. You may be able to stop the flickering if you add a large value electrolytic capacitor to each affected light fixture, try 100 uf or larger at 16 volts or more.
