Ogden water purifier filters
Recieved these two new Ogden water purifier filters from General Ecology Co.
I thought I would post a couple of photos of them .The word is these are
new old stock from the original maker ,but they appear up to date and made
extremely well .Instructions are provided for installation and the cover o ring
and wing nut o ring are also available. This cartridge fits the old stainless steel
water purifier some of us have on our airstream sink counters .

Hey Scott ~
That filter looks completely different than the original one. I have an old one in an old purifier that is in the garage. Glad it worked out for you.

Well thats what im saying ,i was told by the very nice lady at General Ecology
that they were the old stock ,bought all they had .The part # is RS 50 G and
the instuctions do say for ogden water purifiers and to remove old black seals
and install those seals in the pictures ,so ,the cool part is that they aren't
old cartriges obviousely ,plastic housing ,mesh screen of plastic so they are
new updated filters .I will still keep the ceramic cx 90 in place on the tank fill.
I wanted to use that purifier for drinking water if possible ,so im glad it
will work and the water will be double filtered now.Im going to figure out how
to drain the ogden when not in use though ,so as not to have water going
stagnent while sitting .

Hello everyone, it turns out I had to modify the inside lower spacer at the bottom of the inside of the purifier ,so out it came to be refurbished.it was
pretty cruddy ,but a polish of the stainless steel, new seals and cartridge
along with complete cleaning of all passages and the spigot .The lower inside
metal retainer needed to be cut down 1/2 " as per instructions from General Ecolgy, they say remove it as if it pulls out ,anyway I cut it down and its done ,a finished photo to follow.

Wow, I must have been out camping when you first posted this pic, Scott. I missed it first time around. The filter polished up very nicely. Have you been able to use it yet? I just love these old vintage pieces.
