New from precision temp

Just got word about a new unit from Precision Temp....the RV-550 NSP. This new 55,000 BTU unit is self-contained and requires no thru-wall venting, being directly vented thru the floor. This will be a great unit for vintage restorations that will allow you keep the integrity of your polished outer skin. MSRP is $1025.

Hey Lew,

Have you installed any of these yet? Other than the thru the floor venting are there differences from the rv500?

Hi Lewster,
This looks really cool. Thanks for sharing it. I really don't like the way that water heater doors look and venting to the bottom would be really nice!
Thanks,
Tim

Lew, stop teasing me. So many great upgrades available and so little money.

Bigger burner for more BTUs and quicker heating of low ambient temperature water with a greater rise in the water temp. And of course, no thru the wall venting.

I have not seen this unit yet. The techs at PT told me about it when I was on another call to them.

Sounds like it was 'made' for Airstreams.
