Question Hot Water to Hot

Sorry I don't know the brand name of the water heater in my '99 Safari, but it does not seem to have a manual temp control like some of the older ones. It heats the water until it is almost to hot to use. The pressure relief valve will drip a steady stream when this happens. It looks like it is completely electronic. Is there a way this temp can be adjusted or a check I can use to determine if the circuitry is bad and needs to be replaced? Thanks

Raptorrider2001
Hey,

Where you been hidding??

I wished I could help you with your "newer" unit..The only thing that I could ask.."Did you fill the water tank completely first before firing it up?"..They do tend to be rather hot'er then just hot..At least mine does..

ciao

Talking Hot Water to Hot

Hey, 53FlyingCloud! Been out riding. Didn't you see my post about my dragging my Honda 2000i around the campground? Like they say, a mind is a terrible thing to waste.... I put the trailer in the shop yesterday to have the 5 front panels replaced that were damaged by hail. Been through Hail with the insurance company. It will be out of commission about 3-4 weeks. We have been discussing going to the A/S homecoming but don't know if we can pull it off. Our youngest son is geting married the weekend before. Sure would like to.

Forgot to answer your question. Yes, it was full of water. I had showered the evening before without lighting the water heater. The water in the holding tank was warm enough for a quickie.

You got Fantastic news and, then not so great~!

Man, I'm sorry to hear abt your battle with ole Mother Nature...
That's gotta be a real pain in the kisser~!!
5 damaged panels...did you take it back to the factory in Ohio or what?

Fantastic news abt your son's marriage...This means, you'll be gaining a Daughter to boot~!~Lucky you~
Best Wishes and, congrats all the way around..

You know,
I had some thoughts that, we'd try the A/S homecoming in Oct..
At least the A/S will be about ready for it's last road trip around that time before I head it back down to our place in Va., where we keep it for the winter..(Makes it nicer to just hop in the Burb and, go for it during the winter months..don't you know?)

BTW, so true abt the mind wasting...
Keep those wheels spinning~!!

ciao
