I noticed a water filter listed on his parts page and hit the view button. It is an Everpure but doesn't look like the one I bought for my system. After I screwed my filter in, it leaked ever so lightly. I'm not sure if a gasket has dried out on the filter mount or is missing. I just unscrewed the filter after shutting the line off and threw the filter in the drawer until I have time to fool with it later.

FULFLO FILTER

CRAIG........is your filter a fulflo??? I pulled the filter out it was fiber with a carbon filled sock inside it .I think the filter came apart sence only one plastis end cap came off and look as if it broke..it has a round gasket on each end and fit over a plastic tit on filter head and screw on body...regular water wholehouse filters were slightley to long and the gasket between body and head leaked ,could not screw body down to stop leak...I saw andys and its not even close...this filter also goes to drinking water spout on the sink..........

Fulflo filters

Tomb -

A bit late in my reply, but I know of a couple other sources beside Inland RV for the Fulflo cartridge RWC-5...

St. Louis... eFilters.com - #105-121, $6.00 ea
Mid-States ... mgci.com - #MSF CN28, $5.26 ea

Try these sources if you have no luck anywhere else...

Exclamation Fulflo water filters

Tomb -

I goofed.... I've been sent updated info from eFilters, and have since located another source. So here's a more complete list of suppliers for the line of Fulflo filters, with web addresses and phone numbers:

St. Louis... www.eFilters.com - #153-631, $13.10 ea
Mid-States ... www.mid-states-sales.com - #MSF CN28, $5.26 ea
California...WACO (562-229-9599) - #MMCT-10, $13.10 ea

Parker-Hannifin still manufactures the replacement filter for the Fulflo RWC-5, but sells only thru distributors like WACO. I believe the other 2 produce their own versions. I'd order several if you plan on keeping the A/S around for awhile (some distributors require you to buy a case , anyway).

Sorry for the confusion. I hope this clarifies things.

Tomb - did you ever locate the Ful Flo filters? I orderd 5 from WACO, so I know they will sell you less than 12 at a time. But it took 3 weeks for the delivery.

Hope you resolved your filter issue...

Thumbs up Ful flo filters

Tom - you've got to be kiddin'....

ACE HARDWARE?? I never thought to call them. And I buy from them all the time. The price is certainly in-line (or better) than the other suppliers I located... and no shipping costs. Sorry to hear the outcome from Andy wasn't 100%.

Thanks for the info on the new source. There's an ACE store about 3 miles from me. Practically in my back yard, and MY search took me all over the U.S....!

Go figure!
