Dometic water heater propane flame goes off/on

GE 9 EXT is the model number. The video below capture the heater flame out and re-ignition. Water heats just fine on electricity but takes longer on propane.

Can someone help me diagnose this and possibly suggest repair/solutions?

TIA

Flame going out on water heater

Take the mixing tube etc. apart, clean the interior (cob webs, dirt) put it back together and relight. When lit loosen up screw, shown in your video and adjust mixing tube (slide in slot) until you get a good flame i.e. mostly blue showing.

First thing I'd try is....loosen the little screw on that slotted tube and close the gap to half way. It may just be getting too much air. Slide it to where the flame burns more steady....

Thank you, both!

Mixing tube was clean. I need to adjust the fuel/air mixture as recommended. I ended up at 2/3rd way closed.

Thank you!

The issue is back again...

... with a twist. The heater turns on and off for 3 times when first started. The red light comes on. After waiting for a minute and restarting the water heater it works fine.

Here's a partial video.

What should be my next steps to investigate and fix? Thanks!
