Corroded Burner

Our hot water heater (Bowen G110T) needs a new burner (the corroded one is a Honeywell). We called Bowen and they have been sold to another company last year and stopped making that part. Any other ideas except buying a whole new hot water heater?
Thanks in advance,
Molly

Any luck?

I have the same problem. The burner and pilot assemblies are rusted and need to be replaced. Did you find replacement parts?

Insomnyak,

Just my opinion, but by the time you find parts (if you can) you'll be better off just replacing the heater. Atwood is the direct replacement for old
Bowen water heaters. You may have either a 6 or 10 gallon depending on the trim level of the trailer. The model number will have either 6 or 10 in it. Check Ebay under Atwood. These dealers are usually very competitive in their pricing also - some offering free shipping - Big Discount will occasionally have them on sale also. Welcome to the Forum!

I know it!

You are right! You know it, I know it. The G110t is now sitting on the ground in the back yard. I resisted as long as I could and I am going to miss it. I will never forget reassuring the other campers that all is well when the backfires exploded in the middle of the night, (good thing eyebrows grow back). I will not miss the hours spent determined to light the rusted pilot and burner and then having them blow out in the lightest wind. I look forward to HOT water.
