Atwood Water Heater Propane Operation Problem

The Atwood Water Heater (Model GE 9 EXT W/PL) in my 2017 27' International FBQ works fine on electric but has a problem using propane. It seems like too much propane is allowed to accumulate before the igniter fires causing a pretty good flame to erupt from the location where the igniter lights the gas. I had the trailer in for a window replacement a few months ago at Colonial and they checked the water heater for this problem. They said they cleaned the unit up and performed a service on it, not sure what that covered. That did seem to solve the problem for a short period, but now experiencing the same issue while on our current trip. Any ideas on how to address this problem?

Dinosaur Board . Easy peasy .

I looked in the Atwood manual and do not see what you are referring to. Is there a circuit board somewhere in the system that you are referring to?

Most people replace the crappy circuit board with the dinosaur board. We had three bad oem boards. Never had a problem withe dinosaur

Ordered the universal ignitor board from Dinosaur Electronics. Installed it and had one question regarding the jumper settings. Called Dinosaur, very helpful, got the right jumper setting, finished install, tested, all great. This is surely the route to go for ignitor boards.
