Atwood Water Heater Part - 23D

Hello,

I have tried to order this part twice. However, I keep receiving the wrong part. I know it is inexpensive and I just tried to order it again. Does anyone have any idea what the part number is and the best place to purchase? Please see the arrow on the photo. Thank you again!

Take that old one with you to any RV part store.

Or, any hardware or big box building supply store has pipe plugs. If I can't get the proper one, mine can use a standard 1/2" plastic pipe plug with NPT threads.

A less expensive option, same material as OEM.

US Plastics sells them for $0.67 + shipping.

It's a 3/4" nylon thread plug, available at any rv supply outlet.

option for plug

I havent done it on our new AS yet, but on previous I replaced with pipe fitting to shortwst available, flexible, metal shielded water supply hose, to small valve, to cap at the valve outlet. when I would need to winterize, this was perfect way to drain with out fuss using compressed air at 40 PSI into city water inlet. Will do it to AS soon
