2017 25FC FB water pump circuit

Is there a relay between pump switch and pump or does the switch handle the full amp load when turned on? Thinking about adding a switch in the bathroom

I am having the same idea. Why didn't AS install two switches. We don't like to leave our pump on when not in the trailer and at bed time so always going to the galley to activate.

Curious as to how you would route the electric wire. Our head is across the hall from the water pump so wire would need to be over, or under the trailer. would imagine a simple three way switch would do the trick.

I sure would like to see the DC diagrams for my AS. The owner's manual only shows AC stuff. Not sure about routing, yet. My pump and head are arranged like yours, my pump switch is on the same side as the head.

You can always pull the fuses one at a time then turn the pump on. My challenge will be running a wire across the hallway.

There is no relay in mine, nor was there in my boat with a similar pump.

There is no water pump switch in the bathroom? When did Airstream take that out? Got one in the bathroom and on the Micropulse panel in my 2008 Classic 25fb. SOBs add features, Airstream removes them, crazy.

Hope you can install one, very convenient.

Kelvin

My 2007 does not have a switch in the head. Water heater and light switch but no pump.

If your keeping the existing switch location also, that switch would likely have to be swapped out for a spdt, gets a little complicated. Would have to have two spdt switches and added wiring, IMHO

Single pole double throw. It's the same kind of switch in your house where you have two switches that control the same light.
