Wiring for tanks

Does anyone know how the wires attach to the waste tanks? I put on new tanks the old ones are long gone. So I have a bunch of loose wires that I’m sure if I hook up properly will help me to not over fill my black and gray tanks. Tanks a lot

By the way it’s a 1974 sovereign 31’ ft

Probably depends on the type sensor. If your tank has 4 wire/probes then the low one kinda by its self is negative. The other three located top, middle and bottom are positive. A water connection is made by the water from negative to positive depending on the water level.
