What Size Graywater Exit (opinions please)

Currently (or still) working on a 64 Tradewind - am in the middle of a floor replacement and am going to install two 15gallon tanks in the two frame bays behind the axle, tee them together for 30gallons - my local rv dealer recommends using 1.5" outlets on tanks ??? What opinions does everyone have on outlet size for graywater
1.5" or 3" most new rv's have 1.5
The tanks I plan on using are from www.rvsurplus.net HT169C
Thanks for the help
Scott

I am remodeling a '77 Tradewind. Have removed the rear bathroom which, due to condition, required destroying and removing the black water tank. Had considered adding a second grey water tank but hadn't yet found a source. Thanks for that.

I too am considering a 1.5" exit. Bought a new exit valve but haven't figured out all the transition/conversion joinery to get out the large hole at the bumper location. Actually have a plumber coming tomorrow to help figure the whole thing out. Without the bath and the black water tank I have some room to work with. It may take a while if I order a second tank, but will post updates and photos.

Gray water tanks typically have a 1.5 inch outlet with a valve that size and then T into the same 3 inch outlet (after the black valve but before the sewer connector) as the black tank.

In my case When i added gray water storage I kept it totally seperate so I have 2 3 inch valves and hose connections. This would be a bit inconvenient if you are in parks with sewer connections most of the time but since we are boondockers it is little problem to move the hose from one outlet to the other when dumping tanks

Gray Water

Our vintage-sized gray tank comes equipped with a 1-1/2" recessed FPT fitting for the drain, which as Rick says, is the industry standard. Here's a link...

We tried to size it to be ideal for 1950s and 1960s Airstreams. It is rotomolded polyethylene.

Thanks for the info - I have previosly ordered from you and your products are great - I have been on about a 4 week delay - my father in law had a heart attack and we have been helping the family get better - so things are getting back on track now and maybe I can get back to work - I really want to get back to work on this project -
Thanks
