Thetford Aqua-Kem packets not dissolving

Has anyone had this problem?

We just returned from a 3-day trip, and when I went to drain the black tank, it was slow to drain. After feeding water through the toilet, the clog broke free and not one, but two of the Thetford Aqua-Kem toss-in packets came out totally intact. The second one was from our week-long trip last month. Both showed no signs of dissolving and had been immersed in water for days. Much longer for the older packet.

The good news is that we rarely use the toilet, and when we do, we do not deposit any "solid waste" and never toilet paper.

I think I will only use a liquid treatment from now on.

I do not know what I could have done wrong. it is fairly straight forward procedure: toss packet in water in tank.

Question...why not use the dumper to dump, what's the point of having it?🤔
We do it all, even with paper, never have a problem.
We drive before dumping, flush well, 1/4 cup dawn once in a while and Happy Campers to treat it. SFSG...even the sensors still work.👍
