Tank sizes in '85 Soverign 25 foot

I have an '85 Soveign 25 foot side bath and I would like to know if anyone can authoritatively pronounce on the capacities of the fresh, black, and grey water tanks.

I have both an owner's manual, and a shop manual, but both are curiously reticent on the subject. My wife has tentatively determined the fresh water tank as "not quite enough", and the grey water tank as "less than you would hope". I was looking for something more readily covertible to gallons.

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,
If you have both manuals they should spell it out for you, can you tell us what it say's exactly? maybe you have a Canadien manual in metric? reticent = absent?

I have sales info starting with 87 model year. Reviewing 25' side bath Sovereign in '87, '88, '89, '90 sales brochure all shown with 50 gal fresh water, 30 gal main or black water, and 35 gal. grey or aux holding tank. As the 85 nad 86 model year trailers were very simmilar it is possible yours is the same.

The manuals I have simply do not give capacities. The previous owner thought the fresh water to be 50 gal., but he did not actually know either.

I just yesterday had a chance to see some of the new models, and the tank capacities for the 25' Classic are advertised as 54, 39, and 30, so perhaps the '87 brochure figures are about right for me as well.

If I would carry about 10 more gallons of fresh water and would set up a way to pump 10-15 gallons of grey into the black tank we would very seldom have any water or holding problems. More projects....

Thanks for the help,

Mark

Tanks

The tank capacities on my 1984 29' Sovereign are 50 gal fresh water and, 30 gal for gray & black.
BTW, I never travel with them filled~ Adds too much weight.
I have both my owner's manual, so if there's any chance we can help you with questions.( It'd have to be a generic response, as I suspect not all printed materials is applicable for all Sovereign)
