The sewer dump connection in my '67 safari is in a compartment in the bumper. When i hook the hose up to it the hose has to go up out of the compartment and over the bumper. This rise in the hose causes the blacktank not to empty completely and it pools in the hose. It seems like there should be some hole in the bottom of the bumper compartment so the hose could be downhill all the way. Am i missing something basic here? Please advise.
On my '67 Safari, there is a "trap door" type of thing, right below the outlet, that releases and then I can hook my hose up thru it. After I empty, it has two twist connectors to hold it back in position.
