I bought my 1977
Sovereign to do a full renovation and I have the interior gutted to the point i just have vent tubes and a little plumbing left. During the first week or two of ownership I emptied the bumper box of the old busted up sewer pipe. flash forward to yesterday i decided to take the trailer to the local campground to flush the black and grey tank before i start the process of removing them. I grabbed the sewer hose from my 89 Sportsman to use to empty the airstreams tanks and when i tried to twist it on i realized the mistake I made. There is was at the dump station, having already paid to use it, and i did not have the right connection. After letting the office know I would have to come back I ran to a local hardware store that sells some RV stuff. An older worker explained the changed design and pointed out that all of their connections they had were the new smaller style.
well after getting a refund I jumped on the forums and realized the issue and I ended up ordering the adapter and it should be here today. here is hoping I can finally flush the tanks so I can keep working on the demolition
