Service Thetford AquaMagic 1800

I need to clean and tune up our AS Toilet. It is a Thetford AquaMagic Supreme Model 1800. The pedals offer a lot of resistance and, if water sits for some time in the bowl, the space between the ceramic bowl and the plastic stand/base leaks a bit. I first noticed it when I left some RV orange winterizing liquid in the bowl and got orange streaks down the base.

Does anyone have a service manual or parts manual or just a breakdown view of that model? I hate to get into it without knowing what is in there. I just hate it when I disassemble something and a spring goes "sproing" and bounces across the room leaving no trace of its origin.

thanks, bill b.

Are you sure of the model you show above. It should be like an Aqua Magic III, IV, V or Starlite/Galaxy or Aurora....? Is it any of these - can you post a photo. Is it original.

It must be an Aquamagic I. I think it is original, otherwise the previous owner probably would have mentioned it as a selling point.

I am attaching a couple of photos to see if that makes sense.

cheers, bill b.

I don't see that one on their web site. Try calling the 800 number and see what they have to say....
