When we purchased our lightly used 2017 Flying Cloud this past spring, the black tank monitor seemed to be working. Now it only reads “0”.
We were at an Airstream-only campground a month or two ago, with many long-time/experienced Airstream owners camping nearby. When we asked around about this, every response began with a chuckle. Every owner we spoke with was surprised it was still working when we bought the trailer. They all said that the black tank gauge usually doesn’t work properly much past warranty.
At least you are getting readings other than zero!! Maybe average them? (Just kidding)
