Just purchased a '77 Overlander 27' with a composting toilet, and the black tank has been removed. I'm going to be full-timing at a park and would much prefer a traditional waste storage and removal system. Anyone have experience going back to a traditional system from a composting toilet? Replacing the black tank?
If you're going to be stationary, you may perhaps able to get yourself plumbed into the waste line.
Otherwise, you'll have to re-fit a black tank.
Personally, I am just now making the switch towards a composting toilet. Not all systems are created equal, but if your trailer comes with a Nature's Head or Airhead composting toilet, I'd give them a try - they work extremely well.
