Remove 1957 blackwater tank

Looking for advice on removal. Does the bottom pan need to come out to remove this tank? The tank is in the on top of the sub floor but is not coming out although it is generally lose.

You'll need to make sure the tank is disconnected under the trailer. The belly pan should have a removable area around the valve. You'll need to unbolt the valve from the bottom of the tank. It MIGHT have small bolts in the corners, or may have been updated to a 3" pipe fitting, who knows. Once that valve and any T's or Y's are disconnected the tank should lift out from above.
