Ratio of Fresh Water/Grey Water Tank, Help!

Hi folks, we're trying to decide on sizes of our fresh water/grey water tanks. We are using a composting toilet, so we will not have a black water tank. Is there a magic number, a ratio, of fresh water to grey water tank. 60/20, 50/25, etc. We guess that with showers/cooking/drinking, we'll be using 15 gallons a day, that's a generous estimate. So we figure at lease that size. Any comments, hints, or suggestions out there? Thanks as always!

It's a very good idea, before any major alterations take place, to predetermine how much total weight you will be adding. That in itself, will answer many questions for you.

If your axles are original, odds are they are shot. Axle ratings can be increased, within reason. Beyond that reasonable amount, the strength of the chassis must be considered.

The following article will help you with the axle question.

Dura Torque Axle
