One more grey tank ??

Greetings all,

My husband and I are currently in Glen Carbon, Ill...that is about 17 miles outside St. Louis.

We just picked up a 1969 Airstream Overland 27' [really 24 not including tongue]

Anyway, this trailer has no grey tank and we'd really like to have one put in before leaving Illinois.

Any chance anyone knows a good Airstream shop in this area who could do the work without breaking the bank?

Thanks so much ..... the quicker the replies the better!

Rectech

Hi...
Not real sure what can be done but, from my own experiences here...If it can be done, this shop has outstanding knowledge of A/S. Try calling : Kevin Hartke at RecTech, fone(314-731-9080).
The last I knew they were located at: 5211 N. Lindbergh Blvd., Bridgeton,MO. Just outside the landing field of the airport in STL..
Good luck to you on your project.
ciao

No Grey Tank

I have a 69 Overlander. I carry a blue tote tank for longer stays plus a 5-gallon covered pail with a hole for a garden sized whole for over night. I keep a short garden hose attached to the waist drain and insert one end when we arrive for an overnight stay. I dump the bucket contents down one of the CG toilets before we leave.

I really wish we had a built in Grey tank though. Keep us posted on how your project turns out. I'm also interested.

Jim
