One cup

Hoping for some insight on this one. After emptying the black then gray tanks and securing the handles with supplied clips we hit the road. Next stop... ready to attach sewer hose and remove cap on outlet. About one cup of effluent, maybe gray maybe black or both will run out. I assume one or both valves are not closing completely. How would you fix this? Thanks

Likely this was residual waste left in the plumbing after dumping. Dumping grey tank after black tank should rinse out the bad stuff. You could also rinse the black tank if you have that capacity or let a couple of gallons of water in the black tank. and dump a 2nd time.

Many dump stations are level or sloped away from the drain. You could pull up onto a 2x4 on the passenger side to slope the system towards the drain.

I had the same issue. I worried about it, but it hasn't happened again.
I chalked it up to trash in the tanks. I think I saw a tip from a tube of caulk. I suspect while under construction, the assembly line just throws junk in the toilet or sink. (common in home construction too)
So something kept the gate valve from closing, later flushed away.
