Need sewer system schematic
I recently bought a 1976 27ft Land Yacht that a guy had been living in for a few years. He removed the original septic holding tank system and ran his sewer directly into a septic tank on his property. I want to replace that system and I have been searching in vain for some type of drawing, plans, diagram, whatever, that I can use as a visual resource to design and install the all new black water and gray water (?) holding tank system. Does anyone out there have any ideas, or a source you can direct me to? Thanks.

You might contact the factory. I bet they have a pdf of the owners manual. It wont give much detail, but some detail may be better than none.

Here's a drawing from the 1977 AS Service Manual of your trailer. I don't think there were any major changes from '76 to '77.
Hit the F11 key on the very top row of your keyboard and then click on the yellow bar of the photo to see it in the largest detail possible. Hit F11 again to return the menu bars.
I actually have a brand new black tank (still in the box) in my garage to sell, but where I bought it lists it only for the '74 and '75 year models, although it looks the same as the '77 version in this drawing. Contact me off-list (email or PM) if you want to know about it.

I appreciate the info Aage, but I cannot get the image to open. I just get the little white box with the red x in the middle. I am dying to see this thing, so if you could resend in another format or send a link, that would be great.

trying again...
That really odd, Jim. I can see it fine on my screen.
But computers are quite the independent object, so here it is as a PDF attachment.
Good luck!

Black tank for sale
Also, I am interested in your black tank for sale. I am going to tear off the bottom this weekend and see exactly what is going on underneath and if I need the tank, which I am pretty sure I will, I will let you know. Thanks again.
