How to extend the waste valve hookup

Hey All, I am a newbie and have lots of questions. I just bought a 1963 24 foot Tradewind Land Yatch. My first question is how could I extend the waste valve from underneath the airstream to the side. It's not a very easy access connection, especially at the dump site when the ground is wet.

You can cut the 4" exit pipe and extend it with another piece and a glue on union. Did that on the Excella. Much better to have it out where I can see it.

If you don't want too cut and glue, you can buy Valterra extention's from 5" to 15" in clear or black.

Tincuplady.. We have the same issue with our 73 Safari. At the dump station it is get out the cardboard and make a kneeling pad. Then get down and reach way under the trailer to attach the hose. It is a pain but really don't want to add a permanent elbow and extension as it would extend down quite low and one would increase the risk of bumping it and knocking it off or worse.

I would be interested in seeing some pics of what others have done to fix the problem. Pics anyone?? I know Doug "Shacksman" here in Ontario had done some interesting conversions.
