Holding tank monitors
So doing a complete gut on my 76 Argosy and noticed when I pulled the holding tanks that they have factory sensors in them that where never hooked up(I guess an option or didn't offer it in the Argosy and it was cheaper to use the 'standard' tanks).. Anyway, this got me thinking, what have people used in the past, I have been looking at the 'Sea Level' systems and have been quite impressed (at least at what I have read) and was about to pull the trigger when I pulled the 'gray' tank and noticed that it is only 3 inches thick and Sea Level says they are good down to about 4 inches. I then called up the company and they said that they are working on a sensor that will go down to 3 inches but there is no release date for it. So what have people done in the past? Do I just used the sensors that I already have (I have pulled them and they look brand new after 43 years) or is there something else I can do. Sea Level did say that I could install there current system, but for the gray tank it will only show about 75-80% when full...
