Hard to remove sewer dump cap

Any tricks to make my sewer dump cap easier to remove ?

You can try lubricating with silicone spray but a better option is to get a cap with a handle like the one below which gives you much better leverage.

There may be a diameter of an Oil Filter Remover you can use. All kinds and Diameters. Measure first the cap and you are in business... and find one at an Auto Supply Store or probably WalMart auto supplies.

If you already have one in the garage from changing oil filters... maybe an easy fix.

Simply take a piece of sandpaper and lightly sand the inside of the cap that goes onto the outlet pipe, and sand the outlet pipe lightly as well . Usually works!
