Grey water tank

Just finished replacing both dump valves, 3" pipes, adapters and new level indicators. Filled balck water tank to 2/3rds full and all is tight. Filled grey water tank and all is tight, EXCEPT, I had water pouring out from under door side. Found two inches water in shower pan.
I have unit jacked up pretty steep on side to get to dump valves and should only have filled to half full to test.
Question is: Is there an overflow on top of the grey water tank?? Most of the water was coming out pan corner opposite dump valve area.

In many trailers the shower drain is the first place you'll see an overflow since it's lower than all other possible outlets.

There is a vent hole on the top of the tank that should line up with an existing pvc pipe that exits through the ceiling. My vent pipe is in the closet adjacent to the bathtub.

Hi

It might help a bit if you filled in the details of your RV by using the "User CP" button at the top of this page. There are a lot of generations ( and types ) of Airstream out there.....

As noted above, the shower drain is typically a low point in the system. Both the black and gray tanks *should* have vents out the roof of the typical trailer ( if this is a trailer and not a van .....). They would not be the overflow point in this case.

The shower might / may / could have a "waterless trap" inline with it. If so, it didn't stop the problem. They really are not designed for major back flow sort of problems. If there is one, this sort of thing might damage it.
