Gray water valve won't open to empty

I just returned from dumping my black and gray tanks. Black went fine but the gray would not open in order to turn on the pump. Too many people in line behind me so I came home and fiddled with it. Thought maybe the macerator pump was clogged, but followed instructions and that didn't change anything. The black valve worked fine but not the gray. Gray still reads about half full. I'm hours away from an Airstream dealer so I thought maybe someone here could provide a clue. I read through some other threads and SURE hope you don't tell me to disconnect the motor! I can do a lot of things but I'm not interested in doing that! Thanks for any help you can provide.

I am not positive on your model but the valve may be a motorized gate valve. If you can find the valve underneath, at the back of the motor is a square nut looking thing. The valve opens on a screw and if you turn that square shaft, it should open it.

I am not sure if those were on the 2014 but if so, that should work.
