I have a 73 Land Yatch Tradewind. It has a single holding tank with the dump valve located in the center rear of the trailer. The valve appears to be frozen closed. Do I have to have the valve replaced or is there some kind of fix? Thanks for any help
There is dump valve lubricant available where they sell RV supplies, I think it's mostly coconut oil.
Don't pull too hard on the handle it will break off, voice of experience here.
The original valves can be rebuilt with new seals but as long as you're taking things apart you'd be better off replacing the valve. I did mine after the handle broke

I got a valve rebuild kit on amazon. The valve came apart with some bolts, but I had to remove valve to work on it. Dropped cover and had to cut out valve, but with a couple slip couplings got it working properly. Very smooth operation now.
