Dump Side Preferences?

Going to change my dump valve.
Now it is in the back, easy enough to go left or right to dump.

If the dump valve is moved to the middle would there be a preferred side?

Does one fill water tanks and dump waste tanks at the same time?

How are you sure about water quality when on the road? Add a little beach to the tank?

Most dump stations (and modern RVs) are set up to dump from the left side (street-side)...

If there is potable water available at a dump site you can fill your fresh water tanks at the same time you dump your holding tanks...just be sure to use different hoses and avoid cross-contamination... (water sources at dump sites should be marked potable or non-potable). There is no way to be absolutely sure about the quality of water you are taking on when away from home... when we are using "unknown" sources we add a little liquid purifier (which is basically a bleach solution)...just to be safe.
