His company has been acquired -- though he will still run it -- and this will give him market extension and capital to grow. I LOVE IT when a small business guy has a terrific product, makes it a success and heads for the American dream.

How did you modify the AS hose storage to hold that large head/nozzle part?

I think what he's referring to is the PVC tube for the longer hose that he's using. The under belly storage module that drainmaster uses is actually two parts: the head/nozzle section and a regular PVC tube for the hose. Hope that clears things up. If you're going to Canam this weekend ask Andy to see it. I already sent him mine.

Thanks, I'll do that....I would like to see it before a purchase. I'll also ask about a suitable place to install it

I attached photos of the adapter I made as well as how it looks when hooked up to the trailer.
There's also a pic of the hose stowed in the rear bumper.

Note: I'm only using the adapter because I'm trading up my RV shortly. My new classic will have the camloc permanently installed.

I'll second that! Our system has been in fulltime use for just over a year now, and not ONE issue! Granted, we are in a permanent spot but, other than a bit of fading on the valve head from UV rays, I highly recommend it.

Received mine today....I'll track down some ABS cement around the house here and install in the coming days before my next trip (Oct 9th). Looks very solid.

Remember to do a full test of using the cams (for clearance purposes) before cementing!
Congrats!

Yes, already did a quick test and the levers have to be aligned top/bottom rather than side to side on mine because of clearance to the black/grey valves.

All done, success and works great....cool system. As you said the hose/nozzle fits in the rear bumper but I can certainly see me getting the dedicated storage locker over the winter for use next year.

Ron, How did you attach the Drainmaster cam-loc fitting to the adapter. Pipe glue?

Thanks!

Hi,
On my '15 Classic, I sawed off the bayonet fitting and as you thought, I afixed the DrainMaster camloc fitting with pipe glue.
Works like a charm.
Regards
Ron

Any suggestions using the waste nozzle at campgrounds with this type of waste cover?

This waste cover does not pivot completely vertical allowing the nozzle to be inserted into the sewer inlet.

I'm glad I kept my other slinky in the storage tube. Ha!

A 5# hammer? Just kidding!!!! Kinda my mood today.

I would assemble a "z" tube where one end catches the Drainmaster and the other end goes in the sewer. Should be able to make from standard PVC parts and sanitize before stowing.

I was close in using a sledge hammer!

The end of the Drain Master waste nozzle is threaded. Solved!

Thought I'd chime in on the subject...... I've had waste Master system a few years now & love it....However, recently while at the Balloon Fiesta in NM. I ran into an issue I've not had to deal with. We brought company with us and after a few days had filled the grey tank and needed the Honey Wagon to come pump us out. On arrival they hauled out their hose and brought it over to connect to the AS, and the look on the guys face was priceless. needless to say he wasn't able to connect to the female fitting I had with the cam-loc fitting of the Wastemaster outlet. After a bit of creative thinking, we figured out a way to achieve our goal. ( but I must say, I'm glad we were dealing with just a grey water issue! ;-) )
When I got home I did a little investigating and see that there is an adapter you can buy that would have made things a LOT easier.

Now if I ever need a mobile truck to service (empty) the tanks there will be no issues. and being that the old slinky still rides in the back bumper drawer, if there is ever a need I can revert back to the old system, I'll be ready to go!
