Unhappy Did someone steal my black tank valve pull assembly?

Hello everyone. Day five of the full-timer adventure. This morning I noticed that Id left unlocked or open 🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️ my tail storage compartment. I saw that my sewer hose was gone as well as the tool that I use to unscrew the drain cover. That was annoying and puzzling. As the guy at NAPA said, Whos gonna put that on eBay? Ok. Solvable problems. I have a spare hose.

Then the plot thickened. When I got back with a tool to open the drain for emptying my very full gray water tank, I noticed that there was only one valve pull. My black water tank valve pull either fell off 🤦🏻*♂️ or was removed 🤬.

My question is which parts am I missing? In other words, what do I need to order? If anyone can help, Id be grateful.

On my trailer I had to replace the black tank valve. Doing that nasty job I learned that the pull rod is threaded. Same as the exterior handle on the other end. It's quite possible your pull rod simply twisted off then jiggled out while on the road.

missing handle

I see the valve is there look ahead of your thumb that's the valve threaded portion going into the black tank, what your missing is the pull handle and threaded male stem union that has come off, and I suspect that the threaded portion was attached without Thread-Lock and may have vibrated off, or as you suggest,,,.it walked.
The dwg is not an as built compared to what your pic shows it has 2 parts not a single valve rod eg. https://valterraparts.com/valterra-r...-12vp-6-and-9/

I appreciate your thought and time put into your response. As I (of course) had a completely full black tank, I had to problem solve for a dump today. I learned about the two-piece rod while removing then moving the gray water valve handle over to the black water side.

Thank you all so much

Really wonderful. I had to dump my completely full black water tank, so I went about removing the gray water tank release handle and screwing it onto the black water side. It worked, thank god, and thanks to you all I know the part I need to order to make things whole again.

Hmmm. I have little metal locking wires that go over each side of both handles.
