or try this new system that sounds better, or is it? as i have not read one review as yet on the net its called the SeeLeveL II. the idea that a comopany just keeps sending out new parts due to failures as opposed to figuring out the problems is funny to me. i can live without it but enjoy the possibility of finding a system that might hold up under normal use instead of failing right after i leave the service center that repaired the system. anyway i still need to figure if they are all composite tanks or not might have to contact airstream on that.

Found this as I was researching a gas tank sending unit for the boat.

3-Wire Xtreme Series Fuel Level Sender 6-60" Tank

Click on the installation instructions and you can see it's adaptable to water and waste tanks also.

So maybe it CAN be done.....but I guess we don't pay enough, oh wait it's less than $70.
But it takes too much time to install, and you'd need a real gauge.

I replaced the sensor in my fresh water tank a couple years ago. It worked well until last weekend, when it started reading full when I knew the tank was drained dry. We'll see what it's like next weekend. Black and grey sensors have not acted up yet.
