Changing black water tank.

Looking to change the black water tank in my 64 Ambassodor. It seems to be leaking. My question is do i need to take out the bathroom and pull it from the inside, or can I do everything from the bottom?

Wow! Seems to be the topic of the week for 1964's...

We are getting ready to work on ours in our '64 GT this weekend and then there's these two threads:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f444...ons-68720.html
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f155...elp-66441.html

Too funny! At least we'll all be able to commiserate and compare notes together...

Shari

P.S. Welcome to the forums!

Location of the tank dictate replacement procedures,

If your tank is under the floor, the belly pan in the rear will need to be removed to facilitate replacement.

If your tank is above the floor, yes it can be removed from the bathroom.

That tank is removed from the bottom of the trailer.
