Black water drain valve handle broken

I broke the handle off of the black water tank drain valve. There are not enough threads left on the valve rod to screw the handle back on. Is there a fix for this? I hope I don't have to replace the valve. AS is a 25' 2000 Safari.
I did fix the leaking range vent by replacing it with a new unit and sealing iton with a putty type tape from the local RV supply. Thanks to all who responded to that thread.

I just re-threaded the rod when that happened to me. The rod is very soft steel and easy to thread.
