Black Tank Debris

Anyone ever drop anything solid into a black tank with a macerator?
It is a small fresh air spray.
Best way to retrieve it?
I have a 2021 Atlas.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

If it's metal could it be retrieved with a magnet of some sort?

We dropped a fork down the toilet once when we were emptying a dish pan of soapy water.

Didn't want it to get stuck in my new waste valves, so it had to come out. Tried a magnet on a long flexi stick like the mechanics use - not long enough and would get near it.

Then we securely tied a couple of strong donut shaped magnets on the end of long piece of lightweight nylon braided cord. It went into the bottom of the toilet, the toilet was filled to the brim with water, and then it was flushed down with the water. The water carried it to where the fork was and it came right out.

If what you flushed is magnetic then perhaps this would work. If not, then as Rosanne Rosanna Danna would say, "never mind."

Maybe get a pair of the examination gloves the vets use that go all the way up to your armpit?

I dropped an aluminum flashlight in my tank when I was replacing my toilet. I pulled the toilet flange out of the tank. My arm was too big to reach far enough in for the light. Her arm was slim enough.
