better sewage hose?

Is there a consensus on sewage hoses, which one(s) is better? If we are somewhere that has a sewer hook up, I use the Sewer Solution, but need a new sewer hose for dump station use. Would like to find one that could fit in the storage compartment, somewhere close to 10' and durable.

I use my Sewer Solution at the dump station. Only two considerations:
1) choose a time when there aren't 20 campers lined up to use it - If I've been camping for a week or longer and know the great exodus hits between 10 AM and Noon on Sunday noon, I hitch up saturday after dark. I leave only the electric hooked up and the tow vehicle umbilical undone. Then I set the alarm for sunrise, unhook the power, plug in the umbilical and head for the dump station. I then leisurely dump my black tank - follow with a drywall bucket of water down the head to do a semi-decent flush, then dump the gray tank and follow that with a bucket of water down the shower to get the crud out of that tank. The SS is clean enough to go into it's own bucket with sudsy water and HI-HO Silver Away.

Now "chunks" - no delicate way to address this. IF you have enough water in your black tank, the brown stuff dissolves. IF you use decently degradable toilet paper, agitation will pulverize that. (like taking showers with the drain plug in and dumping most of that water down the toilet to equally fill both). You can dump without using the hose driven mascerator at all. Will your tanks be absolutely pristine. No but if you're driving more than a few house, they won't be after your first rest stop either.

If I MUST leave with the crowd I will time the dump - and if I go longer than the average 5th wheel I'll close the valve with stuff in the tank and get rid of it at my destination. The simple fact is that DUMPING takes longer. Stuffing the SS into a drywall bucket half filled with soapy water and tossing my rubber gloves into it takes about 90 seconds, where someone cleaning out a stinky slinky and getting it back into the tube will often spend 10 minutes doing that.

Course - I'm not dumping for a family of five. Just me.

Most of the time the hookup for water is not close or does not have a way to hook up my hose to supply the water jet. The easiest way for us is to pull up, hook up the sewage hose and dump and get out of there.
Paula, I read where you like to use Rid X and had good results. My question is how much, how often and how long?

A tbsp or two every week to two weeks. Vary with size of family camping!
