Like you, we went from the Geo to Happy Camper...works great for sure. Wonder why CA doesn't allow it sold there? I always feel like I am doing something "illegal" when I purchase some for our friends in the Bay Area!

They may have their priorities rong...they do allow farmers to grow almonds at 1-3 gal of water per NUT.

The GEO method involves using chlorine bleach, which is harmful to septic systems, as it destroys natural bacteria and enzymes that break down waste.

Probiotic and enzyme based treatments, OTOH, boost the natural process.

GEO method we used did not call for bleach; it was Borax laundry, Dawn liquid, and Cascade water softener. Google.

Yes same as gypsydad,no bleach. I have been using cheap laundry detergent and calgon water softener ( powdered version found at Walmart ). Never any odors and my tank sensors work. Been doing this routine since 2018.

Geo works for me but I only use it occasionally. Don’t like to use soaps etc. if not necessary.

I’ve used Geo Method for 10 years… no bleach in it. Dawn and Borax/Calgon only.

For us...it was to get the tank level sensors and working again...we did one complete GeoMethod, and followed up with Dawn and HappyCamper after every dump...15 Seasons and the sensors are still working.
