Which handle controls what? There are 2 handles. One before and one after the drain connect. Which one is grey and which one is black?

Sometimes hard to tell, huh?

Most times, a black valve will have a large pipe leading to it in order to carry, ah, er, clumps. A gray valve will have a smaller pipe leading to it. Alas, Airstreams are often designed so that you can't see the pipes.

Of course, you could dump a little into a bucket and examine the contents. And then slap a label on the valves.

On an 88 the black tank handle is on the right when you are facing the handles ready to open them.
